What is RideGo and how does it work?
RideGo is a ride-sharing platform that connects riders with verified drivers across 100+ cities. Simply open the app, enter your pickup and drop locations, choose a ride type (bike, scooter, standard car, premium car, or intercity), and confirm your booking. A driver will be assigned within minutes.
How do I download the RideGo app?
You can download the RideGo app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Search for "RideGo" and look for our official logo. The app is free to download and install.
In which cities is RideGo available?
RideGo is operational in 100+ cities across India, including Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and many more. Check the app for the most up-to-date list of serviced cities.
Rides & Booking
How do I book a ride?
Open the RideGo app, enter your pickup and drop-off locations, select your preferred ride type (Bike Taxi, Scooter, Standard Car, Premium Car, or Intercity), and tap "Find Ride". A nearby driver will be assigned within seconds. You can also schedule rides up to 7 days in advance.
How are fares calculated?
Fares include a base charge plus a per-kilometer rate. For car rides, waiting time may also be factored in. Prices may vary slightly during peak hours due to surge pricing. You'll always see the estimated fare before confirming your booking.
Can I cancel a ride after booking?
Yes, you can cancel a booking. Cancellation is free within 2 minutes of confirmation. After that, a small fee may apply. If the driver is delayed by more than 8 minutes, cancellation is free regardless of time.
Can I schedule rides in advance?
Yes! RideGo allows you to schedule rides up to 7 days in advance. Select your date and time while booking, and we'll confirm driver availability and send you a reminder before your scheduled pickup.
Payments & Refunds
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), credit/debit cards, net banking, RideGo wallet, and cash. All digital payments are 256-bit encrypted for maximum security.
How do refunds work?
If you are eligible for a refund (e.g., cancellation within the free window or a driver no-show), the amount is automatically credited to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. RideGo wallet refunds are instant.
Safety & Security
Are drivers verified?
Yes, 100%. All RideGo drivers undergo thorough background checks, driving license verification, and vehicle document checks before being approved. Each driver also completes a safety training program.
Is my ride tracked?
Absolutely. Every RideGo trip is monitored via real-time GPS tracking from pickup to drop-off. You can share your live trip status with family and friends directly from the app.
What is the SOS button?
The SOS button is an in-app emergency feature. When tapped, it instantly alerts local authorities and RideGo's 24/7 safety response team with your live location and ride details.
Drivers & Partners
How can I become a RideGo driver?
Click "Join as Driver" on our website or app, fill out the registration form, and upload your documents (driving license, vehicle RC, insurance). Our team will verify your application within 24–48 hours. Once approved, download the driver app and start earning!
How much can I earn as a driver?
Earnings vary based on city, hours driven, and ride type. On average, RideGo drivers earn between $15,000–$25,000 per week. Incentives, bonuses, and surge pricing can boost your income significantly.
