  • Ride Details: Pickup and drop-off locations, ride history, and ratings.

  • Location Data: Precise GPS coordinates to match you with nearby drivers and track ride progress. You can disable location permissions, but this may limit core functionality.
  • Device Information: IP address, device model, operating system, and app usage data.
  • Cookies & Tracking: We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and analyze usage patterns.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is used exclusively to provide, maintain, and improve our Services:

  • Process bookings, payments, and ride matching.
  • Communicate ride confirmations, driver details, and support updates.
  • Enhance safety through real-time GPS tracking and emergency features.
  • Personalize your experience and send relevant promotions (with opt-out options).
  • Analyze aggregated data to improve platform performance and user satisfaction.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Drivers: Your first name and pickup/drop-off locations are shared with drivers to fulfill your ride.
  • Service Providers: Payment processors, cloud hosting, and analytics partners who are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal Obligations: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of RideGo, our users, or the public.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure servers, and regular audits to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your login credentials confidential.

5. Your Rights & Choices

You have control over your data. You can:

  • Access, update, or delete your account information through the app settings.
  • Opt out of promotional emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing message.
  • Request a copy of your personal data we hold by contacting support@ridego.in.
  • Withdraw consent for location or notification permissions via device settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. Ride history and payment records are kept for legal and accounting purposes for up to 7 years. After that, data is anonymized or securely deleted.

7. Children's Privacy

RideGo is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
